We love how she polishes them up with a tuxedo lapel blazer like this one from Nasty Gal ($58.00) and a pair of laced up black boots - cop a similar pair for yourself at Urban Outfitters ($79.00). Complete the look and keep things upbeat by layering a neon/sequin tank underneath like this one from Delia's ($24.50).

Rita Ora can be great inspiration for the schoolgirl looking to turn heads. Her style is wild, but she's almost always rocking sneakers. Perfect for rushing from class to class! While her looks can hardly be duplicated, you can get close with a vibrant jacket like this bright floral from Urban Outfitters ($79.00), a shiny skater skirt like the one we found on ASOS ($85.15) and your favorite pair of high-tops or even sneaker wedges like these metallic silver ones also from ASOS ($76.64). Finish off with a bright red pout and immaculate hair.

Hailee Steinfeld is basically the queen of age-appropriate meets fashion forward. The core of the look is her soft textured cropped jacket. We found a similar option at ASOS ($93.67) - an investment piece for sure, but you'll definitely wear this more than once. The other key players in the outfit are her captoe Chanel boots, but we found a more affordable alternative in these Dolce Vita ($79.00) metal toe smoking slippers. The rest of the outfit is pretty basic: a white button-up, denim cut-offs (NOTE: make sure these aren't too short to meet your school wardrobe requirements!), and a pair of black knee-high socks.
